VENUES MANAGER, Sydney

12th Month Contract

Hospitality Industry
Sales, Marketing and Operations focus

This exciting contract opportunity has come up starting March 2006 to drive and manage a range of up-market, popular, in-door function venues in central Sydney.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the business continues to be driven in the required direction to achieve and exceed revenue objectives through implementing the sales and marketing plan, growing all segments of the business and in particular capturing new external opportunities through trade shows, advertising and promotions.

At the same time, as the Venues Manager you will play a hands on role in supporting and developing the functionality of the sales and operations team, implementing strategies and improving long term client relationships.

To undertake this role you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years successful sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry or similar.
• Excellent proven sales and marketing skills
• Superior organization and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability in developing and growing business
• Experience in leading a successful and committed sales, marketing and operations team
• Knowledge of the NSW function and eventing marketing, desirable would be experience in dealing with unique or specialist venues.

FINANCE AND BUSINESS SYSTEMS MANAGER

An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, solutions focused finance executive to work closely with the CEO and to provide a higher level of financial strategy, forecasting, reporting and support to the other senior executives.
